NexGen Hearing: Armstrong
Armstrong is located amidst the dairy and farmlands of the Spallumcheen Valley, a name derived from a Shuswap language word with multiple meanings: "beautiful valley", "flat meadow", "meeting of the waters" and "prairie-banked river". I love the historic town center with heritage buildings, shady streets and huge fair grounds. Armstrong gives lots of options for shopping or just taking in the country vibes. Our clinics strives to give the best and most compassionate service they are able to provide. I love connecting with all of my clients and giving them honest and ethical service. I pride myself on being a great listener, finding out what their hearing needs are and providing for their hearing health.
Armstrong celebrated 100 yrs in 2013. We are privileged to have the Interior Provincial Exhibition (fondly known as the IPE) every year in late summer. People from all over Canada and the US join us for this event. We even have cowboys from as far away as Australia enter the Rodeo competition. We have a weekly farmers market with locals providing many wonderful goodies here including produce and home baked goodies. Established in 1973, our market is the oldest continuously running market in BC. We hope to see you there!

Customer Care Representative
Customer service and helping others has been at the center of my job history. From volunteering as a summer camp counselor in my teens, serving customers at a Drug Store, doing a customer follow-up program at a car dealership in my twenties, having my own Interior Design/Finishing Trades business in my thirties, to being the Welcome Wagon Rep., for Armstrong in 2012-13, I love having satisfied clients and delivering high quality service. My customers became my friends. I believe that the customer is the heart of the business and without the customer, the business dies. An unhealthy relationship with the customer results in an unhealthy business. So the heart must be treated with respect, care and concern. I love working for NexGen Hearing because of their strong core values and exceptional customer service. They have a passion for treating people with integrity. Working with Brenda is a joy and I enjoy the teamwork that we have. I grew up in Armstrong, got married and moved away for 25 years. In 2012 I moved back. I was looking for a job I can invest myself into. I am excited about working at NexGen Hearing and serving my home town.
